Best Beaches to Visit in Milwaukee

Milwaukee is located on the shore of Lake Michigan where land meets water and there are many great beaches in this city. However, be warned that taking a plunge in winter is a chilling experience and make sure you check the water quality and temperature before taking a dip. Some of the most well known beaches include Bradford and McKinley Beach.

This is a beach located in Shorewood and it is pristine and uncrowded. It has also undergone a cleanliness drive and is one of the best beaches in town.

Big Bay Park- Perfect  Sunbathing Beach

This is the top beach for soaking in the sun on a warm day though it is not recommended for swimming. This beach is wonderful for lounging or playing sports and it is located in Whitefish Bay.

Whenever the weather becomes nice and hot, everyone in Milwaukee heads out to Bradford Beach which is a lakeside gem. Known for its beautiful water and powdery sand, Bradford Beach is one of the top ones in Milwaukee.

Tietjen Beach- Lengthy Beach

This is set in the bluffs north of Milwaukee in a space of 50 acres within the Doctors Park.

Klode Park - Pristine Beach

This is one of the most uncrowded beaches in Milwaukee located north of downtown in Whitefish Bay. It offers an amazing view, a beautiful path to the beach and breathtaking scenic beauty.

McKinley Beach- Popular Beach

This beach is nestled in Bay View and it offers a breathtaking view of the Yacht Club nearly. It even boasts of a sand volleyball court and a massive park with picnic tables for relaxing and enjoying yourself. Apart from this , it also has a playground.
